No more frozen rice
We had a larger rice cooker, but it was kind of painful to get out and deal with so we started buying frozen rice at the store. Which was fine. But the salt pot allowed us to cook rice all the time. Much less expensive and better tasting by far.

Smoking when plugged in!
I haven't been able to use this product because it starts smoking when I plug it in and turn it on. Seems dangerous!

a mini rice cooker
This rice cooker is so small. On the box it says two cups. For me, meaning two cups of uncooked rice. Noway! It can only fit 3/4 cups of uncooked rice! So, so, small! This is good for a college student dorm.

Rice boiled over
I bought this so that I would have more consistent rice. I followed the instructions exactly and it still boiled over. Disappointing but other than that the rice turned out good. Next time I will just use a little less water. I made one scoop of rice and it took about 33 minutes cooking time. I have included a picture of the finished white rice.

Error in color
I ordered a blue one and got a pink one. Too much of a hassle to return. But not happy. Other than that - works perfectly.

Got for my son who dorms and he loves it!
