What it is: A shampoo that's a perfect blend of nature and science to help clean hair and sweep away buildup.

Who it's for: Ideal for all curly hair types and textures; safe for color-treated hair.

What it does: The gentle detoxifying shampoo is formulated with apple cider vinegar, ginger root, peppermint oil and gentle surfactants, which form micelles to help sweet away buildup. It is paired with a gentle chelating agent that binds to metal ions and simply rinses away impurities. The result is healthier-looking hair with a cleaner scalp and the reduction of eight minerals, including copper and calcium, leaving you with refreshed and revived curls. Thanks to the added conditioning agents, the new formula allows you to clarify in one step without hair feeling stripped and dry. Healthier looking curls start with a reset!

The shampoo is scented with a light, fresh and clean scent that's subtly sweet and floral with a hint of vanilla and musk.

How to use: Use every fourth to fifth wash. Apply the shampoo to wet hair and scalp and massage vigorously. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat and follow with your favorite conditioner.

Life changing
Fantastic! Deeply cleanses but does not strip, smells and feels amazing! My favorite part is that it also targets hard water buildup. I have fine, med-high density waves/curls that appreciate a good cleanse, but my ends are dry and damaged, honestly feels like 2 different porosities, and this shampoo does not strip or dry out my ends. Due to my hair type, I can use this shampoo very regularly. I personally don’t feel the need to do any crazy conditioning to compensate for the cleanse, like a mask or treatment. Just some good quality conditioning and then a leave in on my ends. I can’t wait to try the multi-tasking conditioner, as that seems to be a “buildable” product that would help my hair type. Seriously, my scalp LOVES this shampoo and wash days always hit, it makes my styles come out so good and I feel like I’m actually getting the benefits of all my other products. Final note, if you wear protective styles like locs, this shampoo is a must. I love a good baking soda/apple cider vinegar soak for locs, but it’s time consuming and causes lots of neck pain and still doesn’t target hard water buildup. This shampoo is the solution.

Old formula was better
I wish they didn’t change the formula. The old formula was the only shampoo that worked for my sensitive scalp. Peppermint oil is very harsh on sensitive scalps and the old formula literally stopped my hair shedding. So disappointed…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad to have found this shampoo, primer and conditioner. I used to get nasty bumps on my scalp that hurt but not more!. Use it once a week and it cuts down on the itch also!

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Curl Reset Detox Shampoo worked well for me. I have used it once since I received it and I was glad it did not make my hair so dry and tangled and was much easier to work with. It removed the buildup I had and I look forward to using it again.
