Wing Collar Leather Jacket

I first ordered the lighter color in an XL. I'm 5'8 "with a broad back and 38DD busty. The jacket looks great and a classy style, and the leather is soft, too. However, when I received my jacket, I noticed it was wrinkled in the back, and the one shouder pad doesn't lay correctly. I may have to take it to the cleaners or return it. Btw; I also purchased the black jacket in XL, and it's wrinkled too, but not noticeable. Won't be returning this one!

This jacket is ok for the price of $199. The leather is soft and pliable. It's very plain and the silver zipper is very visible - very little overlap from the zippers leather seams, which I dislike. I always wear a Large in coats and jackets, so that's what I ordered. When I tried it on, it fit - but I couldn't wear a sweater underneath. I don't like it enough to keep it. If I really did like it, I'd order an XL in order to wear a sweater under it.

As I have found it difficult to find a real leather jacket that is supple and fits well, I was happy to see that this looked like what I wanted, and was on sale. When the jacket arrived, it fit great in Large (I wear Medium to Large) but had a terrible, sickly sweet chemical smell. One of the reasons I wanted, and love real leather, is the scent of it, so this was very disappointing. I see that it was made in India, and I once got a bad rash from leather sandals from India; I don’t know why they use chemicals when there are natural oils for leather, and one would think a class act like Cole Haan would have better quality control of their products. As the jacket looks good and fits well, I will see if the smell disappears but I already have a headache from it. If not, I will have to return it. I wonder if anyone from Cole Haan reads these reviews or cares about the feedback. I assume the chemical treatment is to save money, but it may lose them customers. Such a shame, as otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
