Bib Insert Down & Feather Fill Coat

Bought a black one in 2020 and discovered that the feathers/down were much happier leaving a trail wherever I went. The seams are not stitched well and I was covered in small white feathers all winter as they poked out from there and between the fabric. I contacted CH and was told I should 'speak to the retailer' ... because obviously a quality issue is the fault of the store where it was purchased. It's a beautiful silhouette, it's a lousy low-quality jacket.

This coat is the right length as its right below my knee which is important as I want to be warm in the winter. I am 5'2 (34B and narrow shoulders). I got XSP in Carbon (gray). However, if you put on a sweater, it becomes a little tight on top. I got SP as well but it run too big on me. So I ended up keeping XSP. Just be aware that if you are larger than 34B, do not get XSP. Also, the zipper came off after just a few times wearing this coat. So the quality is not great. The hood is also very hard to work with, its small and I have to hold it over my head so it does not fall off.

This is by far the most incredible coat I've ever purchased. Its luxurious, smells like a down comforter, soft, comfortable, relaxing, and stunning. Cole Haan nailed it with this coat. Perfect for Michigan winters. I couldn't be happier. Wear this with any outfit except New Year's Eve formal.

I’ve owned my coat less than one year and the right sleeve has a tear in the seam of the black outer covering material. Also, the long second zipper unzips from the bottom if I take too large of steps, sit down into the car, or bend over. I’m 5’2” 103 pounds and I’m 59 years old. I’m already looking for a new coat for next winter. I’d never recommend this brand.

This coat is awesome!!!..the coat is made out of real down feather and you can feel it. So glad I purchased it. Great coat for the winter. I order a medium and it fit perfect.

I did not see the item because it was a gift for my niece who was leaving for college in Montana. She has not lived in the cold and said she loved the coat. The size large fit her perfectly considering wearing sweater underneath. She is a smaller size so didn't know if large would work for her, but went according to the comments I had read about the item and it worked well.

It's as if the sizing team said "If you're XXL, you must have an XXL head...." This hood is comically big but I'm keeping the coat because it's hard for find a bigger down coat that doesn't make you look like a marshmallow with a hood that doesn't have faux fur on it. I am a sort of rectangle shape and it's a little tight in the bust but not too bad. The color is beautiful, I love the fact that the pockets zip, and the inner bib will be handy when I don't want my coat to fly open but don't need the full protection. The snaps are hard to snap but that's not a concern for me.

Wore this coat in LA, it barely rains here , it was light rain to add and the coat soaked through!!! What a disappointment!

Beautiful coat and runs true to size. Form fitting makes it more feminine and not extremely bulky.
