FP Movement Pippa Packable Puffer Jacket

This jacket is very cute but it looks ridiculous on me. I’m 5’3” and 118lbs. I bought the XS but it stood out from my body in the front and back like a tent, accentuating my stomach and backside, exactly what I do not want. The “ballet slipper” color is beautiful and it looks good facing front, but I can’t walk sideways everywhere so people won’t see the tent. This is a style for tall, thin, young women. I returned it and bought a black North Face down jacket and that looks good on me.

I have this jacket in three colors now. I get so many compliments on the red, just purchased black and now the blue. It’s the perfect jacket to wear over an oversized sweater or sweatshirt as a layering piece. It is a fun jacket, it’s warm has terrific pockets and is one of the few jackets I own that can fit over my bulky sweaters. Free people always runs big, but I purchased this jacket in my regular size medium for the sleeve and body length. It is very wide, but again works very well over sweatshirts, and sweaters. So I personally recommend staying the same size. Even if you size down, it will not be a fitted jacket, you’ll just run into sleeve length issues I believe.
