Suede is only a thin layer
The suede on these booties is very thin. I can already see places where the slightest scuff would remove the covering of suede. I didn't want to do it, but that is based on my inspection of the shoes. Hopefully someone who kept the booties can verify this. Regardless, I have bought leather and suede shoes for years, including from Clarks. These seem to be lower quality that I am used to with this brand.
