Another reviewer correctly observed the shoes are stiff on the first wearing. Yes , it's true . My feet adjusted to the shoe[and visa versa] in less than a half hour.These are my sixth pair of Clarks in the last 13 years and the size and comfort level have been consistent . I have M.S. and can't wear many shoe styles and brands. These shoes have been my walking salvation. They are durable , I still have four other pairs and love them all.
