V-Neck Short Sleeve Pocket T-Shirt

Caslon has gotten 'cheaper' in the way they make their t-shirts over the years. I've been buying new Caslon t-shirts, lots of them, since 2010 and I've noticed oddities with sizing being too small as if they are trying to save cloth, and necklines going from very cute to just slobbish like this t-shirt. Last year the V-shaped neckline was sewn like this one but was also stitched again near the edge then the edges were cut to make a 'raw edge' and that looked much better as it was not effected from washing due to the second layer of stitching near the 'raw' looking edges. Until this year 2024, Caslon t-shirt necklines always lied flat after washing and look good... but this new neckline gets all big and bunched up and ugly, with no way to fix it except by ironing, which I did once, but never again as it felt absurd to iron a t-shirt (not to mention I don't have time for such pettiness). It might be that I am at the end of my years of buying Caslon clothing a couple of times per year... we'll see if they return to good materials and good stitching next year, which will be the final test year for me.

Why do they not come in all the size’s anymore?

Not worth it. Shrinks and loses its shape.

I typically love this brand/style, however, this time the fabric did not feel as soft and it was a bit more sheer than I was expecting it to be so I ended up returning it.

This t-shirt fits great! It looks good because it's not wide at the waist.

Love these t-shirts!! Lightweight, stylish with the pocket, perfect length—can leave out or tuck in. Casual or dress up under a blazer. Washes well.

Very thin T-shirt. Not the typical woven material used for tees. Cheap feel and appearance. A little overpriced for the quality. Ok to wear around the house on lazy days.

This t-shirt is as soft as a James Perse, for a tenth of the cost. Yes, you can add style by sizing up, adding a front tuck and oversized belt with jeans. I’m normally a M and I bought these in black and in white in size large.

Very cute and soft. Comfortable.

Shirt had hole in the neck when I got it and strings coming out of the stitching. Poorly made.
