Too long not a 31" more like 32".
I am a 31" inseam with my shoes and these were too long and were a 32" Making them look sloppy on me. They hit the floor in the back and 31" does not. I even measured due to where they ride on the waist will effect length... they are 32. Too large in waist too. I normally take a 2X in stretch waist items

wayyyy too big
I read the reviews and thought to size up for possibility of shrinking. I usually wear a medium bc of big butt, so I ordered a large. These are like clown pants. Can’t return. Wayyy too long too. Hopefully they shrink in the wash. Order your normal size!

HUGE HUGE HUGE
purchased the Caslon wide leg linen pant in two sizes (large and medium) . Large was like a size 18-20 and the medium like a 16. Neither had good elastic band. Only positives were quality of fabric and good length.

Large and Long
I purchased the striped linen pants in medium. The fabric is nice but as others have stated the pants are quite large for the size and run long. I am nearly 5'6" and the pants were about three inches too long on me.

Very Comfortable
I buy all linen pants from Caslon. They run slightly large and while I can fit a Medium, I prefer Large since I like it looser on the waist (helps when you are bloated or stomach sensitivity). They shrink also, which is why I buy a size up.

Great concept with flaws
The rise is perfect and so is the fabric weight and drape. It is flawed because waist elastic twists and the length is too long. Not many people want to risk washing to shrink to correct length. It might have worked .. as some mentioned?!
