Miller Water Resistant Lug Chelsea Boot (Women)

So first off let me say that I love these boots. They are so comfortable and waterproof, which is a plus, however, I bout them on 12/13/23 and they lasted about 6 months before the sole broke. I wore them 4-5 times a week and didn’t do anything crazy in them. I last wore them maybe mid June since the weather has been heating up and I’ve been wearing sandals more, but i went to put them on today only to notice a large crack at the bottom and notice the sole is coming apart in the same area. It’s super disappointing because I haven’t even had them for a full year.

I wanted to love these boots after seeing the all over instagram, but unfortunately the toe area is extremely narrow so they didnt work for me. I dont have a wide foot in general, so these must run extra narrow to create an issue for me. I will say, I did like how fitted they were in the ankle, and I also like how versatile the style is. Overall though, I have to return (and pay for return shipping, yuck) because of the fit.

Ordered these on the recommendation of a blogger. Boots are well made and look as pictured, but size up because they are narrow! I had to return my normal size (6.5) and ended up with a half size up (7). I even tried the very similar version of this boot at Nordstrom (has a zipper on one side) in a half size up and wide (7W), but those were too large. Also, I will definitely wear tall socks or tights with them because the top part rubs against my ankles, but I don’t notice that at all with socks. Overall, I’m keeping these and think I will end up loving them, but size up so you don’t end up returning them twice like me.

These boots fit like a glove, are so comfortable, and so cute. However, the sole (heel area) of the left boot starting separating a month after I bought them. They were then sold out at the time, so I bought glue and fixed it myself. Now the entire rubber sole is separating. So disappointing.
