Vinny Bootie (Women)

I wish that this purchase would have worked out for me. The color is a beautiful dark chocolate brown which I think is quite versatile. The fit is small, I typically wear a size 9 or 9.5, I ordered a 9.5 and 10 (after reading other reviews). They both fit my feet but the problem was the sizing around the ankle is just too tight. When I went to bend at the ankle I felt too constricted therefore I will be returning these pretty shoes. I have a high instep which might be the reason they felt too tight. On with the hunt:).

I bought those boots as a final sale . My usual size everywhere is 9.5, and most of my shoes are from Nordstrom Rack. Those boots feel like 8.5-9. I asked for an exchange to the correct sizing or return and Nordstrom Rack is refusing. Very dissapointed... I am a long-term customer, like 15 years and that's not fair, that the company is not responsible for the mistakes they made. I would understand that "final sale" rules are applicable when you are buying the correctly described product, but in this case, it's not.

I bought the Vinny bootie in a light cream suede leather. It is stunning! Having bought many European sizes before, I immediately realized the size conversion to US sizes that is available on the website is incorrect, and that is why shoppers complained about these booties being small. A EU size 39 is typically a US 8, which is what I wear. I bought a EU 39 but based on this website sizing, I ordered the 39/9US and the fit is perfect. These booties were heavily discounted, likely given complaints due to misprinted US sizing, so I felt like I scored the deal of the century for an Italian leather bootie.
