What happened????
I’m pretty sure these shoes caused shin splints. They also started wearing really quickly where the shoe meets the ankle. I had the exact same pair before and they were fine - not sure what happened. Very very disappointed.

Great Shoe
A really nice pair of Brookes shoes. I typically wear Cascadia but bought these specifically for walking. They make great walking shoes because the sole is firm yet cushy in the heel area.

As a faithful Adrenaline customer, I’ve been very happy with my GTS 21’s. Very disappointed in the quality of the laces on the 22’s, definitely a downgrade from the 21’s. Heel back support is much stiffer, but missing the ankle support ribs from the 21’s. Overall, shoes look and feel narrower than the 21’s. So far, appears to be a good fit.

Brooks are NOT just for runners, very active Baby Boomers love them too.
i was a Brooks "sneaker" guy for several years but then "thinking" there was a better shoe for me I switched to New Balance. I didn't care for the NB sneakers I purchased initially but told myself I needed to give them time. 5 months' time was enough for me, so I switched BACK to Brooks and I immediately felt a positive difference. My background is this. First of all, I am NOT a runner! I am a 65-year-old male who is very active and on my feet 10-12 hours a day, mostly outdoors doing lots of chores that I really enjoy doing. I do walk a lot and I go to the gym several days a week to help keep fit. Since I switched back to Brooks, my lower back, knees and feet are all feeling much better. Often times people (that includes me) make changes just for change's sake. I am glad I tried a competitive brand but after switching back to Brooks my body feels better, and I am much more comfortable on my feet. My wife and I are working towards Retirment and we will both be retired within the next 12 months. During our retirement years, we want to be very active and spend lots of time with our kids and grandkids doing outdoor activities. Yes, I am aware that Brooks is a "Runners" shoe but guess what, there are a great deal of Baby Boomers, like me, who could benefit from a pair of Brooks, even if they are not "runners". You need to focus more time on promoting your shoes to my age group.
