This is a lovely, colorful dress! The fabric is like a gauzy linen and bonus, it is lined at the skirt. My biggest complaint is that the top of the dress seems to fit smaller than the rest of the dress, specifically the elastic at the lower back. I’m typically a S or XS and I purchased a M because the bust just felt tight. Meanwhile, the elastic in the back sags more than it should for the size. Upon first wear, I accidentally caught the hem in my sandal and pulled the back WAY down. It sprang back up but it’s something to be mindful of. Also, the straps are very thin and don’t feel super secure on my shoulders. If it weren’t for the smocked top being so snug, I would return it. It is beautiful and screams summer. However, rather than a cozy summer dress, I’ll be wearing this with a more careful mindset.
