Carefree Midi Dress

This is a cute dress, but when I washed it, the black dye bled into the white, leaving it streaked and grey. Fortunately, I washed it with dark clothes, so the black dye didn't visibly affect anything else. But this is a huge problem! I can't return this dress because I had altered it to fit me better. I'm a smallish, short woman who needs a size between Small and Medium, and everything is too long. So buying dresses is always a challenge. I would provide a photo but my phone camera tends to brighten everything and doesn't show the bleeding of the black into the white. So beware that, when you wash this dress, the black will bleed into the white. Totally unacceptable.
