It's Complicated!
The jacket has a zip front underneath the snaps. The snaps are cumbersome, and the material looks lumpy in front around snap area, not smooth as pictured. Pros: the jacket is heavyish and seems like it would keep you very warm! I am between XS-S and the XS was roomy enough in this style.
