Ihtazi Rain Jacket

I did not like the feel of the material for the coat. Reminded me of a children’s rain slicker. Very plastic!

This is a super functional and well-made raincoat. I am very impressed. The wine color is gorgeous. The zipper and snaps are sturdy. The inner lining is soft. The hood is just the right size to cover your head and is adjustable to tighten to avoid rain getting in. The pockets are the depth of my whole hand and are sewn at the sides to limit the amount of water runoff that will get in when you open the pocket. These sleeves are long enough for my long arms and have snaps to tighten them. There are air holes underneath the armpits and a trim mesh vent underneath the back flap so you will not suffocate while wearing the coat all zipped up. My only complaint is that there are no interior pockets and the exterior pockets could be a little bit deeper. It would also be nice if the waist cinched but alas can’t win em all. Is this raincoat shapeless? Yes absolutely! but it is super functional. I am 5’7 and a half, long legs short torso and this comes to the top of my knees. I am also wide hip/big butt and the medium zips up with room to spare. The bust/waist are loose so can definitely wear a thick sweater in cold days, but it’s not so loose that I look like I’m wearing my dad’s jacket. Overall I’m very impressed. I tested out pricier rain coats that were NOT waterproof, were super flimsy, had scratchy weird interiors, no vents, weren’t long enough, had ridiculously large hoods that wouldn’t stay on or keep out water, had too short of sleeves, or they smelled like toxic fishy rubber. Oh god did some of them smell so bad. So I’m very pleased with this one. I would try a small to be a little more fitted and flattering but then it might be too tight on my butt when fully zipped so sticking with medium
