Leak-Proof Lunch Box

The latch for our lid has gone missing and you can’t order a replacement latch??? We have 6 bentgo boxes and now 2 have to be taped shut everyday because we can’t replace the latch? Otherwise it would be a great product. They save us money on food and keep things fresh but the latch is an easy fix and should be available to replace.

We purchased two Bentgo Modern Lunch Boxes, and both are now unusable due to the exact same failure. In each case, the plastic hinge nubs on the lid snapped off entirely under normal use, causing the lids to detach. No drops. No abuse. No dishwasher mishaps. Just regular daily use — and the core structural component failed. That leaves us with zero functional lunch boxes despite paying for what is marketed as a durable, premium product. A lunch box whose lid cannot remain attached is not “wear and tear”; it is a fundamental design or materials defect. The most concerning part is the consistency: both units failed in the same way, which strongly suggests a systemic issue with the hinge design. If this is a known weak point, customers deserve to be warned — or the product should not be sold at this price point. This is not a cheap disposable container. Expectations are higher, and Bentgo has missed them badly here. Unless this issue is addressed with immediate replacements or refunds, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
