Belted Utility Denim Trench Coat

I really wanted this trench to work for me because it's beautifully made, nice heavy fabric and nice details. The shoulders are too narrow for me and the sleeves would be too slim for me to wear a thick sweater underneath. I could get the coat on but could not move my arms forward. For reference, I'm 5'6", 140lbs and wear a size 6. I do have this problem with clothing, especially coats, so if you're broader in the shoulder, beware.

This trench is perfect! It's well made and stylish. The thicker, darker denim with gold shank buttons has an elevated, less casual look that you'd expect from a lot of other denim coats. The body is very long, so if your short, there is a hem job in your future. It was just right for my height at 5'8". It's a steal at this price. Totally satisfied!

I absolutely love this coat. It is so chic. Looks good with jeans and trousers and a shorter skirt with tall boots. The quality is outstanding. Heavy denim. I'm 5'5 115 pounds and ordered a small. Maybe size up if you want to wear a sweater underneath. I'm in So Cal so short sleeves or sleeveless underneath works for me even in the winter. Also an amazing price compared to that of Macys. Get it!

Pros: well made, pictured as is, good stitching, long & flowy, and shiny buttons. Cons: heavy, the arms and bust areas are smaller than usual. For reference, I'm 5'5", 130 lbs and 34C and bought a size small. I can close all the buttons but top button is tight. I have athletic physique and the arms area are a little tight for me. If you plan to wear anything thick underneath, size up. I wore a thin sweater to try this on, it fits but not super comfortable.
