Nevin Floral Platform Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 so first I ordered an 8 thinking I would have enough room for my inserts. (I have very high arches and wear Superfeet in all my shoes). Then I ordered in the 7.5's because the 8's were so large without inserts and did not fit correctly with the Superfeet arches. I also have a wide foot and these are wide as are all Baretraps. The 7.5's were short, my toe was all the way to the end and the arch fell a little too far back. So I opted to keep the 8's adding a simple Dr. Scholl's insert to fill them out and they are perfect. The fabric appears to be nylon. It is not cotton canvas. Will Scotchguard. Recommend, but you may want to order in 2 sizes to start with. My guess would be that if you are a 7.5 or an 8, 7.5 will do it. Platform tennies are great, with that extra layer of rubber sole plus these have a terrific supportive insole with arch support (see their diagram). These aren't too high.
