Plaid Rain Coat

I am a repeat offender with this brand. This plaid trench coat did NOT disappoint. I usually buy xs but they only had size small in stock. Took a chance and actually love the oversized look. I can layer this over thick sweaters or a hoodie. I’m tossing the navy hooded insert, it’s removable and didn’t even know it was a part of the jacket when I purchased online. I am 5’3”, posted pic of me with no shoes on for length. So happy this isn’t another knee length trench and actually covers my legs. Material is high quality and gorgeous colors. Another one for the collection, blessed I got one in my size.

Purchased this because of the excellent reviews and I’m disappointed. I went according to the size chart and consideration of previous reviews and it was baggy on me. The material felt thin….loud vinyl.. I don’t know how else to explain it. Basically, every move you make gives an audible sound as the material moves with your body. Not to mention the weird single breast lapel that seems like either they forgot to add the other lapel or going for a failed asymmetrical look. The photos are deceiving. I took a screenshot and highlighted the missing lapel area. Not a good fit, material and product in my opinion. This was returned. I don’t recommend.

This is such a beautiful coat from a brand I recently discovered. This is my third item that I have purchased and the size large is definitely my true size in this brand. The hood is removal and lays right at my mid section. The material is perfect for those rainy days. The only problem I have is that the coat is a little long from my taste and land at my calf. For reference I’m 5’ 6” tall and it’s a bit too long. I will be taking it to a tailor and have it altered to knee length as it will look much better. Please keep that in mind before purchasing. Otherwise, I do recommend it.
