Fit and Flare Sweetheart Dress

I keep buying and returning dresses from this brand. Their sizing and quality are not consistent. The short answer is, I love it! But, the top is quite loose and gaping around the top. I have a larger bust (34D) and I think this would be great for even bustier girls.... but needless to say, it will need slight alternations if I keep. It otherwise fits nice in the waist and hips and has a slimming silhouette. My other concern is that for the price... the fabric feels quite thin. It feels a little cheaply made. I am so torn if I should keep because it is a very pretty dress but the price for fit and quality is a shame!

I am 5’3” 126 lbs and size 2 fits great. However I am an hourglass, so the bottom part has more volume than I would like and it would look better on someone taller and slimmer. Seems like I would have to wear high heels to balance it out and I was looking more for a casual summer dress. I love cherry print so thinking about taking it to a taylor for some adjustments.

Perfect dress for a daytime occasion like a picnic date at a park, a family cookout, or a parents-teacher conference! I’m 5’6”, 179 lbs, and the dress in size 12 fits me just right with room to breathe and move. You’ll love this sweetheart classic fit! I have more of a straight figure so the flare of the dress makes me look shapely! Totally recommend getting this dress!

My only issue with this dress is the straps are about an inch too long. There are two sets of buttonholes on each strap so I was able to just wear it with the straps crossed, but if there had been just one more buttonhole on each strap the length could’ve been perfect. I felt so confident in this dress, I am tempted to find it in other colors even though it is sold out here now in my size in other patterns. Substantial pockets, nice shift, and just the right weight for a summer winery wedding. I haven’t worn a dress that’s made me feel this good in years and I’m so glad I bought it!! I’ll be making alterations to the straps for sure. Size 2, 32-34B/C, 5’7 115 lbs. If my bust were bigger it would probably fill out the extra strap length the dress has.
