Cap Sleeve Eyelet Minidress

I got this dress in white, size 14 and it fits like a glove except for one thing - my fat arms! No problems getting it on but when I reached forward, I felt a pull in my old lady wings. Once zipped up fully (when my husband got home), it was less restricting. It is cotton and machine washable so I think the edging on the sleeves will stretch a little with wear - I'm keeping it.

Needed a black dress and decided to give this "fully lined eyelet" dress a go. What I love is that while it can be worn for many different occasions, it can be dressed up or down, because of the eyelet material. Perfect for spring, summer and early fall. Even though it is fully lined a slip is needed because it is see-through in bright sunlight. I also plan to pin the "wrap" neckline so it doesn't open up revealing my bra. One thing that I noticed which isn't a huge deal, is that in order for the back zipper to go up all the way at the neck, the hook and eye at the top cannot be used. So you'll need to choose - zip or hook. Because the dress is "a-line" and form fitting, I decided to order a size 12. I normally wear a size 10 in better dresses but I didn't want this to be too snug/tight. Very much love this dress!
