Faux Shearling Coat

The jacket package was very light when I received it. The quality was not as good as I expected. When I tried it on the inside seams of the arms were pronounced and they m scraped my arms. Very uncomfortable. The inside lining also shed all over the clothes I was wearing. I returned it.

I purchased this coat because I was in desperate need of a brown coat for the winter. The first thing that caught me off guard when I received the package that the coat was in was how light the box was. When I took the coat out of the box, I was immediately disappointed in the construction. There are seams obviously showing through the faux shearling along the collar of the coat that don’t quite look finished. I tried the coat on and it fit well, but I would say it only seems oversized when you look at it. The faux shearling lining the arms takes up a lot of space so I wouldn’t be able to comfortably wear a medium to heavy sweater underneath unless I sized up. The other thing about this coat is that the faux shearling sheds a ton. I had it on for all of 5 minutes while wearing some darker pants and there were fibers everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend wearing this with darker clothes unless you carry a lint roller. Overall, this coat is not really what I was expecting in terms of construction or quality for the price. It’s cute, but I’m not sure it’s worth it.
