Maeve Midi Dress

I have an hour glass figure, and The pleating at the front makes made me look like i had a food baby.... aka, not cute or flattering. Also, the way the dress is cut at the underarm also gives an unflattering appearance. This might be different for a darker color. I ordered to floral pattern. The dress does have nice movement.

I ordered the brown and the teal. Both are pretty, but the brown wasn’t a good color on me. The teal is beautiful. I am between a medium and large. The medium fit on the bottom, and the dress was zipped but the top was so awkward. I’m only a B cup. The large fit better on top and is more full on the bottom, but doesn’t look bad. Pleats lay nicely. 165lbs 5’7”.

-The purple colors are beautiful -I ordered multiple sizes and 2 had broken seams near the zipper and one had snagged fabric -The dress is polyester so although it looks very lightweight and breezy, it was actually quite hot. I thought the price was a bit high for polyester as well. -I wear a 36DD bra, and am normally and large-XL in clothes. The large fit but I felt most comfortable in in the XL.

Love the dark teal and the style and cut is very flattering for my body type. Ordered the XL and it fits my bust (36D). Normally wear a size 14 and I'm 5'3 for reference. The length hits right below my calf so you can still see my ankles. :) Dress will look great with a strappy heel. Looking forward to wearing this to a wedding in October.
