Wexford Waterproof Chelsea Boot (Women)

They were snug at first, but I have always worn riding boots in the same size so I assumed they would be perfect after breaking in. The design encourages your foot to slide forward, and when the leather stretched as it broke in, it just allowed my foot to slide forward more. The result was all my toes getting smashed together and I actually hurt my right foot just by wearing these to mow the lawn. Of course it is now too late to return or exchange I'm so bummed. They're beautiful and waterproof.

I ordered two sizes for this boot and kept the one that fit best. I can generally wear a 7.5 in boots but kept the 8 in these as they were a bit snug at first. They are breaking in nicely and are becoming very comfortable. I love the green color and the leather accents. In the past I have purchased Ariat paddock boots and tall boots for riding as well as western boots for fashion. I have never been disappointed by this brand!

This is my first pair of Ariat boots and will definitely be ordering other pairs. The material is unmatched for the price. These waterproof boots are everything I was looking for, for my Scotland trip. They're comfortable to wear all day (teacher here) and stylish. They ARE true to size, although they may not seem that way initially. I ordered my usual size (6.5) and though they were too snug around the toe area, after wearing them around the house a few times, they fit like a glove.
