Palisade Paddock Bootie (Women)

These are the most uncomfortable pair of Ariat paddock boots I have worn in the approximate 25 years that I have been wearing their boots. They have given me blisters on the backs of both my heels and rub on the outsides of my pinky toes. The toe box is slightly narrower than other styles and it makes a difference. I have never gotten blisters from Ariat paddock boots before and have never had to do a break in period before, but these are different. They are not comfortable. The first time I wore them, I could feel pain at the pressure points on the backs of my heels within the first hour of walking around the barn and then when I rode, the boots pressed and poked at the same spot on my heel. After the ride I hobbled around the barn and had blisters on my heels. The second time I wore them, I got blisters again. I don't think I will give them a third try. I am so disappointed in this purchase.This style is not for me. It gets more than 1 star because the leather and tread are nice.

These are the most uncomfortable Ariat boots I have ever worn. I have had many other Ariat paddock boots and there is typically no need to break them in because they are extremely comfortable. The insole on these are terrible, the tongue on the boot is oddly short, and this results in the boots cutting into your ankle when you put your heels down riding. They look nice but are less than desirable in the comfort department.
