Wexford Lug Chelsea Boot

I like the look of boots but hesitate to wear those with hard soles or pointy toes for foot health reasons. I bought a pair of boots before from Ariat and they were extremely comfortable and yet still supportive of my quirky little feet. So I took another look and found this Chelsea boot! A bit stiff at first but it never made my feet sore. Even wore them to work and felt good!

I’ve been a fan of Ariat’s Nitro paddock boot for years, but I decided to try the Wexford Lug Mid Waterproof Chelsea boot this time. It’s a beautiful boot but it’s not for me! The higher shafts hit my calves at an awkward place and felt too tight and uncomfortable. I also felt a little clunky in the lug sole. I guess I might have gotten used to the fit eventually, but I decided to return them.

Love these boots. Zero breaking in time, and they go with nearly every outfit. Dress up or dress down. excited to travel with these. Will definitely be buying in other colors.

Boots a bit big on me but shockingly comfortable. I have mild sesamoiditis and am pretty picky about shoes in general, and these passed the test! haven't gone more than a mile yet but I have hope!

Perfect fit for me, not too tight or narrow like most boots. I love the think sole and feel it will be great in the wet weather!

These Wexford Lug Mid Chelsea boots fit very well, are sturdy on uneven terrain, durable and waterproof. They are replacing a pair that I have already tread thousands of miles. Literally, I put a thousand miles a year on them and I’ve had them for four years.
