I love this boot!
I wanted to find a pair of boots for the upcoming trip to NYC at Christmas time. I knew it would be cold and wet, with the possibility of snow. I needed a shoe I could walk miles in, from days of sightseeing to nights at the theater and dinners. This boot checked all the boxes. My feet were warm and dry, comfortable all day, and they looked so cute with everything I wore. I love this boot and am now looking at what other colors I can get. Very happy with this boot!

Sizing Completely Off
I wear size 8 in every brand of shoe, and this was the size recommended by Ariat. Long story short, I went through FOUR SIZES of these boots, none of which fit. 8, 7.5, and 7 slipped massively in the heel while also being too tight in the toe. This was still after trying different socks and shoe inserts. The 6.5 finally did not slip, but was impossibly tight. All four pairs had little cushioning in the sole, and my feet hurt after just a few minutes of trying them on. I had high expectations for these boots and was thoroughly disappointed by the sizing issues and overall quality. I have never had such a problem purchasing any other shoes and can’t understand why Ariat was so difficult. All four pairs ended up being returned.

I love this boot!

Comfortable but NOT waterproof!
These boots are really cute and comfortable but they are NOT waterproof! Since these are not the waterproof version of the Ariat Chelsea boot I decided to return them. Also, they run a little big. I would size down a half size. I usually wear a 6.5 but a 6 would have fit better and I still would have been able to wear a thicker sock. I do have narrow feet though and this boot is on the wider side.

Actually wide!
I don't know why it's so hard to find wide-fitting women's work boots but thank goodness for Ariat. These boots are incredibly comfortable and good looking and they seem sturdy and well-made. Ironically, they're almost a little too wide at the heel and my foot shifts around a bit in them... This could be a problem but we'll see. I don't think it's Ariat's fault; I ordered a half sized up and should have just bought my true size because they really are a comfortable fit.

perfect Chelsea boot
Bought these for a travel weekend in cold and rainy NYC. Walked an average of 17,000 steps a day in them with only one or two days of wearing them prior. No breaking in required. Very comfortable and not heavy. True to size and paired with a good pair of boot socks very comfortable for all day wear and look great styled multiple ways with jeans or dresses. Worth every penny!

Comfortable and cute!
No break in needed! Had to add another color to my wardrobe! I’ve had the last pair for several years and wear often. They are still like new!
