Not The Allen Edmond Quality You Would Expect
The picture of the shoe you think you buying is not accurate. The finish on the edges on the shoe I received pales in comparison. I have owned Allen Edmond shoes for 20 plus years. And these are not the Allen Edmond shoes I know. I’m speculating these are a “2nd Tier Quality made for the RACK.

Beautiful Shoe
Very comfortable with the leather sole and softer upper compared to more dressier AE's. Would rate a 5 except that the "Chili" brown is much lighter--more like a chestnut brown. I have other Allen Edmonds in chili, which are closer to a dark brown. Also, I would call this more of a casual to business casual shoe. Probably wouldn't wear it with a suit, at least a darker suit, although you could probably pull that off if needed.
