Strandmok Cap Toe Oxford (Men)

I have owned many pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and love the brand. However, my experience with the Strandmok Cap Toe Oxford style from Nordstrom Rack has been disappointing. The first pair I purchased had a blemish on the right shoe, resembling a bald spot. When I called the online support, I was informed that there is no exchange policy and that I must purchase a new pair and return the defective one, for which I have not received a return label yet. A second pair arrived early, but the left shoe's color did not match the right; it was slightly darker. Overall, the quality of these shoes has been subpar, and I now have two pairs to return.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice quality shoe. The danite sole is comfotable to walk on and the suede quality is top-notch. Only complaint is that it does not fit the same as other 65 last shoes - it is probably 1/2 to 1 full size larger than a Park Avenue of the same size. I need to use a tongue pad with thick socks with this one. I did not have a chance to try it on in-store as I purchased online during a sale, and a 1/2 size down was not available for an exchange.
