nothing better than supporting small businesses AND made in these United States. these are my favorite in my Edmonds lineup of good shoes. They make a crafted product rare in these parts usually I can only find in italy or Portugal.

So these are outstanding and typical of Allen Edmonds quality, fit and finish. Being on a deep sale only made the experience that much better as I've paid double for other Allen Edmonds boots. The color is amazing and the suede is absolutely beautiful. I changed to flat waxed navy laces as I do with all my boots and they're gtg.
Here's the caveat. I originally ordered a size 10, same as my other Allen Edmonds and Thursdays. Apparently suede fits much smaller or at least in this specific boot because the 10 was way off and presented a clown shoe look. I sent back and received the 9.5 and they're absolutely perfect. I haven't worn a 9.5 in anything for 30 years so it was an odd experience. Regardless, these boots are absolutely wonderful and would definitely suggest buying a full size down.
