Chandler Lug Chukka Boot (Men)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Allen Edmonds chukka boot with commando soles, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to travel and everyday options. The fit is excellent, with a generous toe box that provides real comfort during long days on my feet or in transit. The commando sole strikes a great balance—rugged enough for varied terrain and unpredictable weather, yet refined enough to pair with casual and business-casual outfits. For frequent international travel, this boot hits the sweet spot: durable, versatile, and comfortable. I swapped out the standard laces for para-aramid fiber “unbreakable” laces, which only adds to the boot’s already robust build. The result is a pair that feels nearly bomb-proof—ready for airports, streets, and everything in between.

Nice looking shoe - I also have these in the weatherproof Teak Leather. They fit the same - I saw someone saying the weather proof and normal leather is different - that they weatherproof fits large. Mine fit true to size like most of my AE shoes. It took two tries to get an acceptable pair of the Teak shoes last year and had these not been on sale and I had a coupon also, I'd probably have returned them too because the back of the shoes above the heals are not made well - off centered and sloppy. After all the discounts, they are worth keeping and they wear fine. Could be better though.
