Quality Issue & Used Shoes
I am so disappointed, I bought these shoes for my dad for an early father's day and the first pair came with wax over it. I returned it to the store and got another pair ordered, and these came worn and scuffed. This is my dad's first experience with the brand and he sadly doesn't want them.

The leather Carson slip-on shoes are not nearly as comfortable as the suede. I am going to exchange for suede.

Nice looking but odd fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes look great and appear to be well-made. Fit is very odd though. The shoes are too shallow. The AE website says they run small so size up. However, nearly all the reviews say they run very large. I went down a half size. The length and width are okay, but there isn’t enough room from the top of the loafer to the sole. Hopefully they will stretch out with use and fit better.
