I’m 7.5 normally and I needed these in a 7. Otherwise they would have fallen off my feet. Love the arch support and that you can switch out the insoles.

Disappointing Alameda
I recently wore my new Alameda for the first time and I could not be more disappointed. In only walking a short distance, the shoes began to rub my heels so much that I got blisters. I am so pleased with the Orinda ballet flat that I ordered these expecting the same fit and feel. Sadly, I was very wrong. My hopes of wearing these on an upcoming European vacation are definitely ruined.

Beautiful flat with arch support
This is the kind of shoe that I search for. I have medium arches, a wide toe box, and a narrow heel. I also have bunions. I measure as an 8 1/2, but I sized up to a 9 to allow for more room in the toe box. This is some slight slippage on the heel, but with the strap, I feel that it is a workable shoe for me.
I like the leather upper and I can see wearing these with trousers, skirts, and shorts, so it's a versatile shoe. It skews a little on the dressier side, but I love them.
In addition, the oatmeal color is a nice neutral color that will work with my wardrobe. In general, I would like Vionic to work on wider toe boxes as my toes feel ever so slightly squeezed in these.

Check your width
My first pair medium were impossible but too late to return. Next tried wide, but these are still uncomfortably narrow. This was my first difficulty in many years with Vionic that are among my usual favorite shoes.

The black suede snake are my first pair of Vionic but not my last! I am impressed that they came with 2 pairs of insoles, one a little more padded than the other. I have already ordered 2 different colors in the Uptown and looking forward to wearing them all!
