adidas
The adidas brand sets the curve for sports technology and streetwear relevance. In 1924, Adi Dassler founded his first shoe factory in Germany, providing athletic wear to Gold medalists in multiple Olympics. He created his namesake company and registered the now-famous three-stripes shoe design in 1949. Today, adidas shoes and clothing are synonymous with performance and style, with collections available for women, men and kids.

Perform great and look like new after a year.
Bought these a year ago and absolutely love them. I was compelled to come back and tell others because I have been so pleased with them. Last fall I walked up and down and up and down miles of stone stairs in Amalfi Coast Italy and they were great. Then in February I hiked over 25 miles of trails in Sedona Arizona and they were just perfect for that. They were covered in red rock dust but threw them in the wash and they cleaned up great. Recently someone asked me if I had new shoes!

Great purchase.
Bought these time and again for growing boy. He uses them for everything from school to playing in the woods. They take a beating and last about a year.

Good for walks
Aesthetically, it might make your feet look smaller but the size is a perfect fit. I wouldn't recommend going bigger for "looks" otherwise it won't be so comfortable. I use mine for walking on pavement and dirt. I like how they are waterproof, which gives me a sense of security incase it starts to rain or I come a cross a wet situation.

Waterproof, true to size but low volume
I'm a size 12, but ordered 12.5 because some reviewers said these run small, and because my feet are skightly wider than average. Lengthwise, size 12 would have been long enough based on where my big toe is after lacing up. also, these are wide enough for slightly wider than average feet. However, the interior volume is insufficient for high volume feet. my right foot is fine, but my left foot is difficult to fit due to a knob of arthritis on top of my left big toe knuckle. I was able to walk 5 miles without any real discomfort, but these shoes would work better for me with a little more volume.
The heel lock could be better. I get some slippage unless I tie them fairly tight. I'm not running in these, so that doesn't seem to be much of an issue. I have not yet hiked a rugged trail, but stability was good on a fairly steep grassy hill. I have other footwear for technical terrain. The 10mm heel drop is more than I prefer.
I stood in water covering the forefoot for 30 seconds, no leak.
