The heel part of the shoes are hard and digs in.
I have both the Codechaos 24 and 25 BOA versions. The 24s are very comfortable a tad on the larger size. The 25s are tight but what drives me crazy is the heel. It is rubbing the crap out of my heels and is very uncomfortable. I thought it needed to be broken in, no. I would not recommend these in the lace or boa form.

Too short!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shoes seem well made. I would check size. I struggle with shoes, usually adidas 12.5 is perfect but these were too short. I ended up giving them away. It’s very aggravating because I never know what size to order I have 12.5 that are too small and 13s that are too big, nothing is standard they all fit different.
