Whisper Knit Half Zip Sweatshirt

So I brought one of the Z by zella (whisper) bottom and top from Nordstrom Rack. Came home tried it on and feel IN LOVE. So much so I pulled the my receipt and looked it up. I brought every color avaialble, I am 5"7 175 and I wear a medium. I have long legs and the length is perfect for me. I love the pockets! I can dress it up or down with pearls or heels. I literally have purchased every color.

I purchased this top for my mom. She usually wear a size large, but this top looked more like an XL o XXL when she tried it on. It was gigantic! The top has dropped shoulders and a VERY wide body. I’m returning the large and I hope sizing down to medium will be a better fit for her. I also bought her the matching pant in a size large. The pants were also very roomy, but she preferred the looser fit in the pants. For reference my mom is 155 pounds, 5”10” with a 32”-33” waist.

Super soft, stretchy, oversized but not sloppy. Not really warm but great for inside or temps above freezing. Absolutely comfy in warmer temps too. Has a cord adjustment on sides of waist to help define. Runs oversized, so you could easily size down. I typically wear a small/6 in tops and got a small but could easily do an XS. Love that you can get a matching set in different sizes.

The fabric around the sleeves and the waist has no stretch. This is a little short and runs small .

This material is wonderful… Super soft and so cute. However, it is on wash number three and it is starting to show slight distressing (like friction, not exactly pilling yet) from bumping up against other things in the washing machine. I guess I could have washed it inside out, but it didn’t say that. At least I didn’t see if it did! So now it is not quite as elegant, and I had bought these to wear for casual work.

This half zip would be perfect if longer in the back, then the front. It’s the same all the way around, giving a boxy look. Great quality
