Comfortable runs large
Lovely loafer. I had to return 8 1/2, which is my true size, for an 8 because the shoe ran large. Size 8 was a perfect fit and I love this shoe and I love the color.

Tighter than the 8.5 and 9 I tried in store
These shoes are defective. I tried on a different color in the store to know which size to get and in the store the size 9 worked well, a little big but thats ok. The size 8.5 fit well but slightly snug so I ordered the black in a size 9.
I could barely get the shoes on. They are smaller and tighter. I would like to re-order but im afraid it might be the same issue. The sizing in this color is defective.

Beautiful Shoe But Slips on Heel
This is a beautiful loafer with soft leather (love the suede upper) and great arch support and I love the fact that it is lightweight and easily packed in a suitcase as I travel a fair amount.
Unfortunately, it does not work with my foot type: wide toe box and narrow heel. I measure as an 8 1/2 and that's the size I bought, but my toes came to the top without socks. I found the toe box to be narrow as well. I am somewhere between an 8 1/2 and 9. If I were to size up to a 9, it would not work for me, either as my heel definitely wouldn't stay in place.
I find it difficult to get the correct fit in Vionic shoes. I would like to see wider toe boxes on their shoes as I have bunions. I do appreciate the arch support and their stylish options, but obviously slip-ons won't work for me.
Sadly, I will return them.

Good shoe
I ordered half size smaller than my usual size 8 from experience with this brand. Top of shoes look good. They fit good. But bottom of shoes were dirty. For $80, they should’ve been clean.

reviewing because this is a typical sized shoe
Some of the reviews are saying this runs large. It does not. I own several Vionic shoes. I’m between an 8-8.5. The 8 slightly snug. But since suede is soft, easy to stretch out. Bought these as a travel /walk shoe, not sure they would be comfortable enough… something about the insole doesn’t fit quite right. But OK as a run to the store shoe.
