Collared V-Neck Wool & Cashmere Sweater Vest

It is difficult to find pop-over wool vests that look good just thrown over a t-shirt as well as over a button-up shirt. This one does the trick... I keep it in my car to just grab anytime I need it. There are two things that could be improved: The weave could be a bit chunkier, at least in the collar so that the collar can stand up when needed. It is a lightweight very soft wool but warm enough that I don't need a jacket (for some reason I avoid jackets and prefer to throw on jumpers/sweaters unless it is raining heavily. I keep a lot of different sweaters in my car so I can take any one that is most suitable and change it during the day to a heavier or lighter one. The other thing that culd improve it is if the hem were sewn with side vents, even just two inches would make a difference and allow the vest to fall straight down rather than slightly bunching up at the hem, which makes it instantly more casual than dress. it looks best with jeans and a simple zip-neck long=sleeve base layer as the collar lays completely flat and cannot be pushed upward, it just falls right back down flat. Overall it is an easy-to-wear staple that will add comfort and warmth when adding a full sweater or jacket is unnecessary or too much bulk.
