wedge part of sneaker too yellow

I bought these looking for a sneaker to wear with jeans and brown shirts and sweaters this fall/winter. I returned bc the wedge coloring was too yellow.

why is the tongue so white and long?!

I love everything about these shoes, outside of the tongue. It is the whitest of white, which alone wouldn’t be horrible, but it’s also very long- the tongue itself sits above my ankle. Sadly, I’ll be returning them.
