Kaleidoscope Embossed Geometric Quilt Set - King

The set was beautiful, albeit thin. The thinness was OK because it was only to be used as a bed covering; we prefer warm blankets in the fall/winter. I have a 7 month old so I wash everything before use. Followed the instructions exactly and the banding around the hem of the quilt came undone. Didn't even get to put it on my bed before it was ruined. Will return.

3.5 stars This quilt is beautiful- the gold color matches the photos exactly. I love the quilted design as well; however, this is hardly a "quilt" in the sense that it is essentially two sheets stitched together and bound. There is no batting in between the layers, so it is very thin- in fact, you can see daylight between the stitching. The pillowcases appear to have only 1 layer because the inside of them has visible white interfacing (which touches the pillows). That being said, it is gorgeous and it IS Phoenix, so we don't typically need heavy blankets anyway.
