I only wore these 3 times and the sole is peeling?

I ordered these for my mother. They were going to be her Mother's Day gift. I received them in a Nordstrom storage bag with a note stating they no long ship shoes with the box. They should have disclosed this on the website. They also should give you an option to include the box. Now I have to decide whether to wrap these up without the box or return them. This is such a disappointment.

I wanted so badly to love these shoes…I thought they’d be perfect for vacation in Dubai but instead they were a complete disappointment. Theres nothing Valentino quality about these shoes. They’re stiff and cheap feeling. Super uncomfortable for the price.

Be aware of buying this online it’s damaged. They should let us know before sending damaged

I wear an 8.5, but only whole sizes are available. Sized up as suggested, and size 9 was a little too wide. Quality of shoe was less than expected; underside material of top of shoe is not leather and felt like cheap material. This shoe is better suited for wearing to the pool.

At first, I thought it would not fit however, they are true to size as I wear a size 9. They were comfortable and were not hard on my feet. Highly recommended!!
