Cargo shorts are not the right name for these because that invokes images of white suburban dads in American eagle/mossimo big side pockets stuffed with two Geroge Kastanza size wallets.. these have side pockets yes but if you put anything other then your iPhone in them and maybe a money clip and ID/CC you’re a fool...

Extra Pockets Without the Cargo Look
Absolutely love the fit and material of these Union Bay Tech Cargo Shorts. The best part are the extra inside pockets on the front pant legs that don't make these shorts look like your old school, bulky looking cargo shorts.
I initially bought a pair in size 33, then purchased 4 more pair in different colors in size 32 as I noticed that the shorts would loosen up a tad as I wore them. Have not experienced any issues after washing them either as far as how they fit or retain their color.

Clean looks
Like someone else said, these are not OG cargo shorts. I much prefer this style where the pockets are on the inside of the leg rather than tacked on the outside like an aftermarket muscle car hood scoop.
