New EU size regulations
As of September 24, 2024 there are new EU size regulations of 21.6" x 15.7" x 7.8" so this piece of luggage will not be an INTERNATIONAL Expandable 4-Wheeled Carry-On. Note that the underseat carry-on requirements will be even smaller, 15.7" x 11.8" x 6". Purchase with these new size restrictions in consideration!

TERRIBE FABRIC -- DON'T BUY
This was my first Tumi suitcase purchase after years of using high-end suitcases from other brands. Those suitcases all lasted 5-6 years of HEAVY use. This one? Not even 18 months. The fabric on the front was terrible. Everything it came in contact with it retained, and it couldn't be cleaned. Sent it back to Tumi, and they said "sorry ... wear and tear." That's fine -- but I know a good suitcase, and this isn't it. Avoid this.

Nice but too heavy
This carry-on weighs 9.8 lbs. It is sturdy and nice looking but if you are looking for a light-weight suitcase, this is not it. If the weight had been stated in the specs, in addition to the dimensions, it would have been helpful and would have saved me the hassle of returning it as well as the return fee.
