Smocked Waist Cotton Maxi Skirt

I’m going to return this skirt because it just doesn’t drape nicely on me. I’m very slender and it just makes me look bulky due to the weight and the size of the white cotton slip that they placed underneath this skirt. I ordered size small. I am 5 feet 4 inches and 108 pounds. The waistband is very stretchy and will fit multiple sizes. I generally wear a size 2, and this skirt fits very nice nicely and the color is pretty as well. I actually contemplated removing the slip, but the skirt is fairly sheer so it would limit it’s use to probably just the beach if I did that.

The fabric is good quality with a nice drape which is flattering. Love the smocked waist with pockets. Best of all worlds. I’d wear it with sandals and give it a summer vibe rather than the picture that shows it with boots. Highly recommend, especially if you’re curvy, it’s very flattering.

I absolutely love wearing this flowy cotton skirt. The color is true dark olive which is a wonderful neutral shade wearable with a lot of fitted tops and blouses. The gathering on waist is not overdone and despite the tiered style does not make me look frumpy. The material is light and breathable and is packable because of the slightly crinkled texture. It is tea length and runs large. The smocked waist works perfectly with the tiered style and attributes to the overall comfort of this skirt. I am usually medium size in elastic or smock waisted skirts but the small fit me perfectly. It is a great purchase for the price point.

This comfortable skirt has a wider waistband than others and it is exactly right for the skirt. Very comfortable and also looks great with a tucked shirt. Smooth and elegant.
