Defective
I bought a size S in both colors. They fit. 5’3” 145lbs. But the dress was wider the entire length than it was near the bottom where the slit is. The dress became more narrow the length of the slit. Maybe that was the style, but to me it’s a defect because it made the dress not “lay” correctly.

fades after one wash
I am extremely disappointed in the purchase. Loved the dress the first time I wore it. Washed it carefully inside out. Laid flat to dry. Wore it again today, completely faded and looks like a worn out tshirt. I expected more from Nordstrom.

Comfy blanket canvas, unflattering neckline
This can be accessorized — must be accessorized. Layered belts, chunky jewelry, combat boots, bold makeup… it needs accessories and is a great blank canvas for that. The neckline is not flattering on me. I need more skin showing; this is a high crew neck. I would prefer a lower neckline. I give it a 3.5. I’m still on the fence whether or not to return it. It’s a comfy basic—easy for around the house. Good for going out if heavily accessorized.
