Hat will stain with any water/rain contact.
This hat is not suitable for golf. I wore it ONCE golfing with some light drizzle. It now has navy blue water spots stained on the front of the hat that are noticeable. It appears there is dark black or navy fabric underneath the grey front of the hat which explains the staining.
