Dakota Water Resistant Chelsea Boot (Women)

I loved these boots when my husband bought them for me for Christmas. So cute, and pretty comfortable. A couple weeks after I got them, the tab at the back of one ripped. I figured I could easily fix that so I wasn’t too worried. Cut to today, when the heel just completely fell off. I didn’t even know that could happen. I’ve had them three months, and I don’t wear them that often out of fear of getting them dirty, so how are they falling apart this easily?

I was a little hesitant when I ordered due to other reviewers regarding fit. I wore them over a weekend trip to Nashville. They were very comfortable for me even with lots of walking on initial wear. I Scotchguarded them so they wouldn't get stained which I recommend! I love the look, the fit is as expected. They look great!

Never owned a pair of Toms before so i thought i would try as these are super cute! The color is gorgeous in person but the shoe is so SMALL overall. I am typically a 10.5 so in boots I have to go with an 11, which are never too small for me generally. These were so narrow and small especially in the toe box for me.

I was skeptical about this boot after reading the two other reviews, but quite honestly I don’t know what they are talking about. This boot is well made with high quality materials and construction, it looks sleek with just the right amount of “chunkiness” and they were super comfy right out of the box. I am a pretty straightforward size 7, with an average width forefoot and a narrow heel, so I expected some heel slippage as I have with virtually all of my shoes and boots, but these did not slip at all. The color is neutral and goes with everything. I can’t say enough about these boots, other than I’ll be buying more in other colors.
