These will be your new favourite tops!
The Kauai long sleeves (and short sleeves) tops are my favourite by far! I am 5'2", 32DDD (29"waist, 42"hip), athletic/hourglass shape, and these fit amazing and are so soft! They are a bit loose, so they cover up when I am feeling bloated or want something not form fitting without loosing my figure. I ordered both XS and S, the XS fits a bit better for me, although the S allows for a thicker tank top (or even another top) underneath if it is that cold. I did not have trouble with the length of the V-neck, it is very modest. I wish they came in more colours! (I know someone with a pear-shaped body who is slightly taller than me and they look adorable on her also!)
