Timberland
The mission of Timberland is to inspire and equip the world to step outside, work together and make it better. Founded in 1952 in Boston, the company is best known for its iconic "original yellow boot," which debuted in 1973. Those waterproof leather boots set new standards for craftsmanship, durability and protection—and still embody the spirit of all Timberland shoes made today.

Received Defective Shoe
Received the item with a broken shoe lace eyelet. The shoes arrived in its original box without any interior shoe paper packaging so I’m guessing that it was a previously returned item which was again resold? This was a big disappointment and should be more closely monitored for quality control issues, item was returned.

Love's these shoes!
I stumbled into a Timberland store for the first time Sunday and saw their "tennis shoes" and I am very impressed in the style. I initially wanted to try on 3 different styles to see which I liked best, these were first - I never tried the other 2 pairs on. These shoes are my absolute favorite shoes to wear, I can't get over how comfortable my feet felt in them right off the bat! I immediately wore them to work the next day - expecting to have blisters because I'm on my feet all day - I didn't have any, they are just incredibly comfortable. I will be buying another pair!

Uncomfortable - not built for work
I'm on my feet 9 hours, walking about 3 miles/day on concrete and wanted a shoe/boot hybrid fit the role. This ain't it. I immediately noticed the cheap excuse for an insole - an 1/8" piece of sponge that compresses down to nothing. This revealed the cheap construction of the sole which gives no spring back with each step. The balls of my feet immediately started getting blisters. I wanted to like these boots so I ordered $60 insoles which is its own can of worms. I shouldn't need to play trial and error with insoles to get these boots work, so I'll probably return them. Only upside seems to be decent tread. I wouldn't recommend these for hiking or any work that involves being on your feet - which is what boots are for.

Works for me
Only been wearing them for 3 weeks so too early to speak to durability. I like a heavier shoe with a stiff sole and more support (foot issues) and this work very well. If you want a sturdy, heavier shoe they are great. If you want a lightweight shoe, this is not for you
